Not AI. Not a print. Real ink on paper, drawn by a custom-built machine.

Each work is unique and unrepeatable. Once it sells, it's gone forever.

About

Introduction

Pavlovpulus is the pseudonym of an artist who builds machines that draw.

The work is not made by hand, and it's not made by AI. It exists somewhere in between — algorithms written by the artist, executed by custom machines, on real paper, with real ink.

Every decision about structure, form, color, and material is human. Every line is drawn by the machine.

Process

Each work begins with a generative system designed by the artist — rules, constraints, and logic that define how the drawing will behave.

Once started, the machine draws on its own. The artist doesn't control individual marks. What emerges is the result of the system, the machine's physical behavior, and the paper surface responding to both.

This is how complex, subtle work appears that couldn't exist any other way.

The originals

There is no digital version. No reproduction. No print run.

The drawing on paper is the only instance of that work. When it sells, it's gone.

Materials & authenticity

All works are made with archival-quality pens and inks on fine art paper. Each piece is signed and embossed by the artist and ships with a certificate of authenticity.
